Expect More Labels and Varieties of Tea Based Soft Drinks
The blend of tea with fruit juices and Coconut Water, continues to earn consumer interest and sales were up in 2010 . Even greater increases are expected for both soft drinks in 2011. Innovation in flavor and increase healthy attributes are considered the reason for the soar in sales figures
Starting March 1, Jamba Juice known for its fruit smoothies will start serving hot drinks at more than 340 of its 742 total locations. A new drink menu will consist of four ‘Hot Blends’, which include three tea lattes and a hot chocolate, along with six organic Mighty Leaf bagged teas: Breakfast, Earl Grey, Green Dragon, African Nectar and Detox Infusion. Florida will be one of the locations to get the hot drinks; the others are California, Chicago, Hawaii, Minnesota, New York, Portland, Seattle and Texas.
