World Famous Cigar Bar Hosts Azuñia Tequila Tasting and Pairing with Toraño Vault Cigars

The “World Famous” Cigar Bar in Fort Myers is known for their monthly ‘Cigar of the Month’ Party when their pair great cigars with great spirits but on Friday May 11, the quality and versatility of Azuñia Tequila with the balance of Toraño Family Cigars was a crowd pleaser.

Known for their outstanding selection of World Class Bourbons, Scotches and Whiskies, The Cigar Bar also maintains an impressive selection of quality spirits, fine wines and specialty beers to go with the areas biggest and most well stocked walk-in humidor.

But what makes this ‘Cigar Bar’ different is that it’s not anything like a typical  man cave…and ladies who look for a better Skinnygirl Margarita have found a better Skinny Margarita and better tequila at the World Famous Cigar Bar.

Beverage Director Randy Santerfeit selected Azuñia Tequila and was able to show how both Azuñia Platinum and Anejo Tequilas are gaining friends and fans at both locations of the Fort Myers Florida landmark smoke-friendly, neighborhood bars.

“We selected Azunia Platinum as the feature for our Skinny Margarita. The fact that is organic and 100% Blue Agave was important, but there’s flavor in addition to be being super smooth’, said Santerfeit.

The Cigar Bar version of a pure and guiltless ‘Skinny Margarita’ also uses the pure, certified organic and 100% pure Azuñia Agave Nectar which is the non-alcoholic substitute to the triple sec liqueurs, with fresh squeezed lime juice.

“It’s pure and a healthier way, Azunia Agave Syrup has also replaced our ‘simple syrup’”, stated Santerfeit, one of Southwest Florida’s Whiskey and Scotch specialists.

But it was the Azunia Anejo that was paired with Carlos Torano Fanmily Cigars, specifically the newly released Torano ‘The Vault’.

Tobacconist Sultan Chakkar and Santerfeit selected Azunia Anejo to pair with Torano’s Vault Cigar which Chakkar confirmed is another excellent example of Torano Family Quality. “It’s a little treasure…it’s really a sweet, chocolaty, delicious…smooth smoke”, said Chakkar just one of several trained Tobacconists at the ‘World Famous” Cigar Bar.

The Azunia Anejo was magnificent with ‘The Vault as the natural agave nectar undertones along with the enhanced favor of 18 months in premium bourbon barrels has made many cigar aficionados beginning to choose tequila over their typical ‘brown’ spirit.

Kase Price, a veteran ‘Spiritsman’ and the Florida Regional Sales Manager for Intersect Beverageconfirmed that Tequila is making it way to Snifters. “With Azunia Anejo you find that your choices are expanding and that you don’t have to have a single malt scotch or a small batch bourbon for a great sipping option.  Tonight people are finding out that Tequila and Cigars make a real nice combination”.

The 100% Azunia Agave Nectar that Santerfeit selected is fast becoming a part of dietary choices as well, as agave and it’s natural sweetness is popping up in cooking and drink making as a superior alternative to hih fructose corn syrup (HFCS )
