Beverage Underground Pours It On with Mad Men Cocktails and a Loopy Martini for Pooja
(Ft. Myers, FL) Fox 4 Rising and Beverage Underground said goodbye to News Correspondent Pooja Lodhia with some Outrageous Cocktails inspired by the AMC series Mad Men at the Firepit City Grill on Monday March 26, 2012.
Pooja Lodhia has been in Fort Myers for three years and during that time she has endeared SWFL to her informative and fun reporting, most recently as the live correspondent on the early morning Fox-4 Rising Show. Pooja is not only moving closer to her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana…but she is moving up and moving on to Houston, Texas to become a part of the ABC 13 Morning team at KTRK-TV.
Pooja and Fox 4 Rising Visit ‘Smokey’ at Firepit City Grill
From time to time, Pooja and Fox-4 has called on Larry ‘Smokey’ Genta, the BarMechanic to mix it up and pour it on from area locations different times of the year ,and this time ‘Smokey’ introduced some of the cocktails seen on the popular Mad Men TV series. Both traditional recipes and spirits were used along with new updated products and variations in the making of a classic Martini, Manhattan, Rob Roy, Sidecar, Greyhound, Salty Dog, and Blue Hawaii.
Beverage Underground and ‘The Bar Mechanic‘ also introduced viewers to Three Olives Loopy Vodka the newest flavor that mimics the popular breakfast cereal Fruit Loops.
