Hideaway Sports Bar Closes Dean Street and Brings BIG Screens for Super Bowl Street Party Celebration

Hideaway 200x72 Hideaway Sports Bar Closes Dean Street and Brings BIG Screens for Super Bowl Street Party Celebration

Downtown Fort Myers has always had the closest thing to ‘neighborhood bars’ and as much as we miss ‘Ida’s’ we enjoy stopping by The Hideaway Sports Bar on Dean Street whenever we can for Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Crabcake sandwiches and the coldest beer in downtown. It’s especially a great place to be these days because  the Red Sox are coming to town this week.  Spring Training Red Sox Fans meet at the Hideaway and real fans know it begins on February 18 when pitchers and catchers report to City of Palms Park.  The Hideaway is a great place before and offer FREE trolley rides to and from every game, and the Boston Beer Party begins and ends at the Hideaway. Every Saturday game and on St. Patrick’s Day, The Hideaway blocks the street and has live music before and after games.
