H2 Closes. Downtown loses another supporter…for now.

Harold Balink the chef/partner behind the H2 concept in Downtown Fort Myers is looking at a new horizon as the doors have been closed on the Bay Street restaurant and bar.  The former chef at South Seas Plantation and Harold’s -on-Bay has been a celebrated chef for over ten years.  H2 was a tapas, wine and cocktail concept that had more versitlity than just fine dining, but despite a ‘local’ following …the changes in Downtown Ft. Myers are the only consistant in Ft. Myers /Entertainment District’.

Harold remains optimistic for the future however, “There are new investors in the business, and it was decided that we needed to move in a different direction,” Balink said.
