Firepit City Grill Hosts Two-Day Cinco de Mayo Party at Gulf Coast Town Center
Celebration Includes LIVE Music and a Margaritaville Party Friday & Saturday Nights
Southwest Florida’s Biggest Cinco de Mayo Party will start early this year.
The party weekend begins at Happy Hour at the Firepit City Grill on Friday May 4 and continues thru the running of this year’s Kentucky Derby on Saturday May 5, and then it gets even more fun.
The Firepit has obtained a permit and extension of license that will turn the lawn at the Market Square Stage to the perfect outdoor ‘Margaritaville” for the entire weekend. Saturday the party will welcome Gator 101.9 FM with a special appearance of ‘Val & Scott‘ the Gator Country Morning team.
Friday Night, the Party starts at 5 PM with Corona Extra, Dos Equis and Tecate Beer Specials and Margaritaville Tequila features with a variety of flavored Margaritas as well as full bar service from at least 3 bars.
Mix 104.7 FM will be on-location as will BeverageUnderground.com who will present Classic Party Rock All-Stars ‘Rockhouse’ on the Market Square Stage from 8-10 immediately followed by a DJ to keep the party dancing til closing time.
The Kentucky Derby is always the first Saturday of May and this year party goers get two reasons to celebrate as The Firepit begins their Derby Day d Party starting at 4 PM hosted by Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Rain Organic Vodka and Fireball Whiskey.
Great specials, prizes with authentic Mint Juleps and other tasty cocktails will be featured right up until 138th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, Kentucky. NBC will broadcast the race, and the Firepit will show it on their flat screens with post time scheduled for 6:24PM.
Val St.John and Scott Fish are the Val & Scott in the Morning team for the highly rated Gator 101.9 format and they will be on-location at 6 PM at the Firepit City Grill in time for the Annual Kentucky Derby ‘Run for the Roses’ as well as on-hand to welcome and introduce the featured band for Cinco de Mayo, Batay.
Batay is the area’s premier Salsa y Meringue Band and is a returning favorite to The Market Square Stage to preform from 8-10 pm.
The grill will be on the lawn and plenty of reasonable options for food will be offered as well as a full menu on the Firepit patio and in the dining room. Several flavors of Margaritas, along with a full bar an assortment of wines, beers and shooters will be offered on the lawn and under the stars. Even a $20 by the bottle special on all Cupcake Vineyards wines will be available all day and night
Margaritaville Tequila will help set the party mood both Friday and Saturday nights with great prizes and will also be featured in the Both the “Loaded Corona‘ and ‘Coronarita’ Specials. The ‘Coronarita is a festive concoction that looks like any other Margarita until you add a 7 oz. Coronitarita bottle upside down to finish this over-sized Margarita.
