The Beverage Underground is coming to the radio and internet waves and every Saturday Morning at 10 am you can dial in to The Avenue 1410/1660 or at www. AvenueFla.com to check out 30 minutes of liquid conversation that is sure to be informative, entertaining and fun. ‘The Avenue’ will also feature community oriented radio programming and we are proud to announce that the Beverage Underground Radio will hit the airwaves beginning Saturday February 6. We’ll meet up on the Avenue 1410/1660 every Saturday Morning at 10 AM for a weekly recap of the buzz in the beverage business. The Avenue is a multi-genre mix featuring a balanced blend of classic and contemporary cool tunes from Sinatra to Santana, with Jazz, Rock and Blues from Billie Holiday and Ray Charles to Steely Dan and Harry Connick Jr. The show will be hosted by ‘The Bar Mechanic’ Larry ‘Smokey’ Genta and the Beverage Underground Radio will originate in Southwest Florida. The opportunity to bring this popular topic to radio that will originate in Southwest Florida comes to just the right ‘avenue’ of the busy Beverage Underground streets. Radio is one of the lost places, and this format is one that is more like grabbing a musicians ipod and turning on to something cool where the music matters. Music that provokes thought and creates memory all at the same time. Radio was the first ‘community’ thing and The Avenue will provide a forum for the Beverage Underground every Saturday morning.
