Cigar Bar Live! Announces That Popular Fort Myers Rockers A-200 Will Play Every Wednesday Night!
A-200 Live Wednesday at Cigar Bar Live
When Rich Castiano decided to bring LIVE Music back to his Hendry Street venue in Downtown Fort Myers Historic River District he and his staff were excited to revive thestage and rock room formerly known as Gotham Hall.
For the past several months Cigar Bar Live has rocked downtown every weekend with an array of great local and regional acts including 10,000 Views and a monthly appearance of SuperBot.
But the downtown’s mid-week just got a power surge, as Kevin Robbins, the spokesman and marketing arm of World Famous Cigar Bar and Cigar Bar LIVE announced Monday that A-200, arguably the band with the areas biggest following, had signed to perform every Wednesday Night.
A-200, the Band…consists of veteran guitarists John Housley and Bob Tabarrini and Bassist Vic Jimenez who with Ed Ziehm on drums provides the power. Jason Polly is the front man and Lead Vocalist but he is backed by the entire band that adds vocals and harmony along on a songbook of creative original songs and adaptations of cover tunes.
The band describes themselves as a Modern Rock act that has made the transition from Southwest Florida Bar Band, to a well oiled national touring team. They have worked hard and are now backed by radio airplay that reaches up the coast and to upstate New York, Canada, and throughout the mid-west over to Nebraska. CD’s and merchandise have made it to Ireland, France, and Germany and while they play regularly in Fort Myers they tour Florida extensively.
The band has tremendous support and is a popular a live act that sells CD’s and merchandise at every show. With the help and endorsement of WJBX-99X in Fort Myers the Band sold out of every copy of the first pressing of their anticipated CD in the first weekend.

A-200 appears nearly 300 dates a year and has opened for many national and internationally touring acts like; 10 Years, Papa Roach, Buck Cherry, Chevelle, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, and even heritage acts such as, ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Joe Walsh, the Smithereens, and Blues Traveler.
Cigar Bar Live is neighborhood, smoke-friendly bar with full liquor, and a better than most selection of domestic and craft beers and fine wines. Open Monday through Saturday from 7 Pm until 2 AM with LIVE Music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Nights.
