The Edison-Ford Foundation held a cocktail party tonight at the Edison and a delicious martini called ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ was the Grand Prize winner in the Pinnacle ‘Mad Scientist’ Creative Cocktail Contest. Charlie ‘Tuna’ O’ Dell from Spirits of Bacchus created the winning cocktail using Pinnacle Strawberry-Kiwi Vodka and for his entry he wins a giant 6 Liter bottle of Pinnacle Vodka. The winning drink will appear in the upcoming print version of the Beverage Underground and the winning cocktail will be added to the growing list at www.OutrageousCocktails.com

The Three O Bubble Vodka Party co-hosted by Premier Beverage and Beverage Underground was a great success as the Cigar Bar in Gulf Coast Town Center poured it on and their great staff made it fun for all. Pink wigs, plenty of cool T-shirts, Bubble guns, Bubble pops and even Bubble Pop Rocks made the party one of the best. But while the party raged on we got the chance to try several cocktail that had been submitted by Hospitality Industry Professionals throughout the area. From Naples to Ft Myers Beach and from Sanibel to Bonita bartenders, servers and even chef’s from several different kinds of places entered creative and some even a little whacky drink recipes. We’ll post photos soon…but here are the the winners of the Three O Bubble Cocktail Competition.
