The Country’s Number One Wine Auction Has Raised $94.5 Million Since 2001
This year marked the ‘Uncorking of a New Decade’ for the Naples Winter Wine Festival and charitable angels from around the globe descended on Naples, Florida to bid on unique lots of exotics trips, luxury cars, rare jewelry and world-class wines. fine wine and luxury gifts. The annual three-day event raised $12 million and brings the total to $9.45 million since the auction began in 2011. The festival benefits the Naples Children & Education Foundation among other charities and 100% of donations stay in Collier County. Nearly 600 guests attended the auction including former major league baseball starts Rusty Staub and Cal Ripken, Jr. and Naples resident Judge Judy Sheindlin who has supported the charity event every year.
Annual Event at Minnesota Twins Winter Home Marks the First Signs of Baseball Season
Hammond Stadium is the year-round home of the Fort Myers Miracle and the winter of the Minnesota Twins and although the Twins aren’t in town until mid-February, over 1200 fans were at the ballpark on January 29,2011 to raise a glass to the 2011 season at the Annual Ballpark Festival of Beers.
An unlimited sampling of nearly 75 craft and imported beers were offered and served up by volunteers of the local Y. The event featured food and live music and was held on the stadium concourse.The Beverage Underground Network was on location and interviewed guests who were pleased with the selection of brews, and the successful and well orchestrated event. This year’s turnout was better than last year and one of the best festival since its inception.

Miracle Baseball’s 7th Annual Beer Fest Features 75 Beers BEVERAGE UNDERGROUND ON-LOCATION
Every January our hometown Fort Myers Miracle presents the first beer festival of the year and you can expect 75 beers to line up at Hammond Stadium TONIGHT, Saturday Night January 29. The 7th Annual Ballpark Festival of Beers starts at 6 PM and for just one low price locals and visitors will be able to sample any of the 75 beers until 9 PM.
Tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 at the door and includes a commemorative sampling glass and live music by the area’s best party band, ‘The Geek Skwad”. Children, strollers and anyone under the age of 21 will not be allowed into the event. Food will be available for purchase all evening, and you must have ID and be 21 or older to attend.
